The remote missions of the Congregation in the Country and abroad offer to its young members a challenge to radical discipleship and missionary evangelization, in the spirit of St Francis and St Angela, and in the footsteps of our Founder and Pioneers. The Congregation is blessed with the culture of relationships, mutual growth and support by rich missionary and religious experiences in the local Churches. The Ursuline Franciscan Sisters have a long way to traverse to fulfill the dream God has for them and for his people. The realization of God’s plan is the project of faith handed down to each member of the Congregation by the Founder and the pioneering members.

The Fourteenth General Chapter held in May, 2022 dwelt on the theme: ‘Repair my House’. The Chapter deliberations delved deep into the reality of violation of human dignity, violence to cosmos, and a lack of sense of the divine. It offered a clarion call to respond to the cry of the new poor and restore human dignity through varied ministries such as: issues of the migrants, transgenders, Adolescent Empowerment, implementation of National Educational Policy (NEP) etc.  In the light of this reflection the Sisters realize their call to be prophets to wake up the world and bring fullness of life to people. Hence, they pledge to repair and rebuild themselves, community, Church, society and world at large by being leaven in the dough.
